Dilation means nothing unless you are in labor. It could be days or weeks. I've been 4cm dilated since 36 weeks. 38+3 now and still no progress ‍ . With my 2nd, I was 1cm at 35 weeks. I birthed spontaneously at 40+6. It's whenever your body decides it's time.
