17. Nov 8, 2022. #1. I saw someone had a post on the 120 circuit flickering of lights. It worse with the LED bulbs but noticeable on incandescent and halogen types. I doesn't mater if I'm running on solar, battery or utility. My thought is that the inverter is putting out these blips. It can happen once in while or a couple times a second.
Mar 5, 2022 · Eventually, whatever is going on with them will fry sensitive electronics. The only difference I knew of is the bonding screw I removed in the LV’s. So although I wouldn’t think that would be the problem, I asked if I could remove the screws in the EG4’s. They agreed. There isn’t a bonding screw in the new units btw. My question is are both array inputs on the inverter allowed to handle the 500v 4000w input. Yeah I bought a Pioneer 120v split unit one and it runs fine, but it only pulls 400w when it gets going. Than again the split unit is not a traditional heat pump as it is inverter based. My geo heatpump pulls 1800w and 240v, not inverter type.
