At one time I thought Kimber was the top of the food chain, I really did have pride of ownership with them!Your takeup can be reduced if you have the special tools or buy a trigger that has adjustment tabs,but let a smith set it up.You need a certain amount of takeup to allow the disconnector to reset and prevent trigger slap,but how much depends on the pull weight of your lockwork and the weight of the trigger itself.
