Changing the recoil spring makes a huge difference. Because the compensator deflects some of the force, you can go a lot lighter and still be quite reliable. I tried a 7 pound spring but it felt sluggish in the return. 8 or 9 pounds is the sweet spot. No reliability issues with any ammo. C2 for CC. P if your using it for range. I’ve shot both. The P shoots a little flatter bc of the weight but the C2 conceals easier (not by much). I went with the C2 because of the weight. Can’t go wrong with either but the weight of the P may be tiring to carry all day for some. 6.

In this case it really comes down to what you like. The look of the full dust cover is nicer (to me) but does not perform better than the normal P. Yes, with the caveat being is there a point of diminishing return where you aren't gaining anything by having a Staccato over another duty pistol. $2800 would buy you a ton of supplemental training and ammo for your current pistol that would make you an overall better tactician, shooter, and asset.
