2 posts · Joined 2016. #5 · Mar 23, 2016. Deere employee. I have worked on the 590i's. They have way too many problems to list. Motor leaks oil and the rear end half shafts pop out for no reason. Frames are welded poorly and the Briggs and Stratton motor is foreign. I wouldn't buy a gator myself and I work there.

If in high, do it in low. The engine will race up like crazy in low until it reaches about 5MPH, but then the engine will sound normal.
