Dec 27, 2011 · Hey there. i'm quite new with Revit and i just started to place the beams of the building. My problem is after i create the beams - i can't see the on plans. (while i can in 3d view). i watched a lot of videos on youtube and noticed that people who work with Revit STRUCTURE have "Stractural Plans" views on the door not cutting wall. Now slab edges will snap to model lines. This works when slab is already inclined. probably a difference in units rounding from a dimension type to the Project Units setting. If you are dimensioning with rounding set to nearest 1' for instance you will always get 6'-0" x 7'-0" doors even though they might be 5'-11 13/16" x 7'-1 1/2" in reality.
