I can’t seem to figure out, if there is a way, to adjust the brightness without first exiting whichever game I’m playing. I know with JELOS it was (I believe) done by holding down ‘select’ and pressing either volume button. Can’t seem to find any such shortcut for ArkOS. Appreciate any help.
A new version of the os was just released a few days ago. I'm not sure if I encountered the same issue before but got it fixed after change the volume in the sound settings. Press Start and go to the sound settings and see if your volume is at 0%. Once you increased the volume, the sound should work fine after that.I bought PICO-8 and got the raspi files, dragged the pico8, pico8.dat, and pico8_dyn files into the pico8 directory in ROMS, great. I added a game I made into the carts folder, and I can play it from ArkOS, great. However, I can't tell if I'm running PICO-8 natively, or if it's fake-8? can't find anything in the menus.You're right, asinine is maybe a bit of an exaggeration. I've just been frustrated because JelOS offers a great user experience, but the difference in performance that ArkOS gives on the RGB30 is insane. Part of my gripe is that I'm used to using select as the "main" hotkey, so switching to R3 screws up my muscle memory.It's also been reported that this TP-Link Archer T2U Nano AC600 unit works very well with ArkOS. It's inexpensive and supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless signals. I personally used this EDUP Nano USB 650Mbps unit and it works very well with ArkOS. It also is very inexpensive and supports 2.4Ghz and 5GHz wireless signals.

Change SCOPE to just a forward slash / and save. If you then click MY FILES in the top left, you should have full access to the card (if not, refresh the browser). So to confirm, the BEZELS folder goes in. ROMS or ROMS2, just place the complete folder named BEZELS in there with the files inside. and the CONFIG files I made go in.

Currently on Arkos. However im having a couple of issues. Im getting a little fed up with my pokemon progress getting set back every time the device dies. Save states i do while in game dont see to work. Once it turns on again im back on the last place i did an in game save. Secondly. Even if fully charged, if i shut it down with the menu options.

There was a fix in November for some issues related to quick mode. If you didn't run the OTA update before enabling quick mode, disabling and enabling quick mode is a logic fix. I was using 12082023 on RGB30 when I had this issue.
