The tenicor clips are hard to take on and off compared to vedder but way more secure in my opinion. Tenicor was always better than Vedder. Vedder gets recommended a lot because they are less expensive. My next holster is a C&G.So if you were like me and liked the Velo but sometimes found it a bit uncomfortable the Certum 3 is likely the answer. I only wish it would take DCC's new Monoblock but the holes don't witness proper in order to so maybe that is something Tenicor might look at in the future.

I have been carrying my ValorHawk Government AIWB in a Tenicor Certum 3. I place it between the belt and pants to prevent hot spots and pressure. Much more of a positive click and lock around the trigger guard on the LAS. I would expect the Shogun to have the same retention. But the lead time on the LAS is a long time...
