Just had a thought. If and when EA shuts down bf2 servers, I would love for them to do one final update before actually shutting them down. Here's the fix that Dulana57 found: - Launch ORIGIN, launch STEAM, in origin select the Steam version of Star Wars Battlefront 2, right click and go to Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options. - In the command line arguments insert your path to Frosty Mod manager executable.Your local servers will have you playing with mostly local players. So if you're playing really early or late, just switch to the next closest server and try to que again. (Because if you're queing early or late your local players will probably be sleeping.) If it doesnt work, switch to the third closest server.Hard to say; but that’s not a bad guess. Here’s hoping we get news of a new game in that timeframe. I’d say in 10 years the servers will shut down. I’d imagine Co-Op and maybe HvV will be the only game modes that’d still be active towards the end. Jan 2, 2020 · Just downloaded the game a few days ago. The game freezes on the Pellio Mission 4 with Luke Skywalker. When I first started the mission, the game froze and actually caused my XBox One X to Completely Shut Down. It also disconnected my controller and I had to press the main power button on the console. EA loses its contract with Star Wars in a few years so they might be shut down then. Either way when the next company comes around there’ll probably be a new battlefront game to enjoy.
