Zelda Botw White Screen Bug Help. Hello! I am a big fan of Botw and would love to finally be able to play it on my pc with Cemu, though I have been unable to because of the somewhat well known "white screen opening" bug. This is essentially where after Zelda tells you to open your eyes the screen turns white and the game is now soft locked.Play a bit. Last time I played Botw, cemu had been updated an all my shader cache data was erased due to not being compatible. It took 2 min to get the enough shader cache to make the game playable. I have one. Playing in mastermode, and got 60k, and it's still not complete. Let me know if you're interested tho.I know CEMU version is better, but this eliminates the need for that (which i guess most guys keep for BOTW). Moreover, minimal config, no mods like FPS++ needed (although CEMU has great graphic packs). So for a vanilla experience and keeping everything on Yuzu its a great option. Not to mention that the upcoming TOTK will hopefully run great too. And neither one is truly better than the other. OpenGL with a complete shader cache will not stutter. Updating cemu or your gpu drivers will not reintroduce stutter. However without a shader cache it will stutter everytime a new shader is encountered. This stutter is longer than it is for vulkan.
