The Pythons were supposedly more hand fitted than the Anacondas. The Pythons are in 38 Spl./357Mag while most. Anacondas are in 44 Mag. with some being in 45 Colt. The King Cobra is also a very well made 357 Mag pistol. that resembles the Python.

The frames are different (the 2020 Python is a larger frame and the 2019 King Cobra Target is the same frame as the old Colt Diamondback 38 Spl.), grip (which I actually prefer the wood KC target), and the vents cut in the rib of the Python. Of course a machine shop can cut vents but it does lighten the barrel a bit.King cobra now that they make the python in a 3 inch is fairly similar, however I would say the KC is more of a carry gun, python is more of a range gun. It has better sights then the KC, and more then likely a solid frame. Both great guns, but for me if I chose a python I’d get the 4.25 inch barrel instead of the 3 inch
