Oct 27, 2012 · My M2 20 was actually worse than the Franchi 20 in the stiff loading department. The shell catch has to be bent (which Benelli customer service did, along with lightening the trigger). Still a bit stiff, but that changes with ammo brand. I do have a Franchi Affinity 20 Compact coming, it is 43.375 in. - 44.375 in. OAL vs. 47.25 in. of the std. Dec 16, 2022 · It has a much better recoil pad on it and I also like how the trigger is easier to reach. The Franchi just has a little more distance between the grip and the trigger. One other difference is the forearm is slimmer on the m2, but I have zero issues with the forearm on the affinity. Both are high quality guns.
