I think all the usual suspects work well on Z9. Nikon 200/2, 58/1.4G, 105/1.4E for F mount. For Z mount, 50/1.2S, 58/.95, 85/1.2S. I still wish 135/2 DC would have AF support but that's wishful thinking. Zeiss 135/2 apo-sonnar is. always nice. The rumored 35/1.2S could be interesting for environmental portrait.

The Z8 still lags in AF vs the Canon R5, Sony A1, Sony A7R5, and others. The Z8 looks like a great camera. But for less, one can get the Canon R5 for less that has better AF. But I'm sure Nikon will address this in a firmware update. I was just saying similar on another forum. Still lags the AF, which is important to some, including me.
