Actually, from what I have heard, LSU is supposed to be one of the finest intuitions to obtain an MA in philosophy from a “continentally-committed” faculty. Applications for funded MAs in philosophy are already long past (the last one was like February or so -- most are due in Dec-January).They see 160+, and they think that's a good score.
