Not sure how to check. I only got a message on the Infinity controller saying "Replace or clean filter" (something like that). I pushed and hold the left button on the controller and it switched to anther mode telling me filter is 100% used - I pushed the right button to reset it. Got the this filter warning message after 5 months with use of 3 ... My carrier infinity thermostat (systxccitc01-b) recently died. My local carrier dealer/tech confirmed this and has placed an order with carrier to replace it. Unfortunately my dealer has informed that the thermostat is backorderd and there is not estimate as to when a replacement will ship out. A replacement for my Infinity by Carrier is $960.00 (not customer friendly). The only reason my Thermostat is a problem is that the AC button broke. Otherwise if I remove the face and manually switch between Air and Heat- I can get by.
