Just on a whim, I measured a dozen HK barrel pins. Most were 5mm on the nose, one was 5.02mm and one was 4.98mm. Personally, I'd rather see the hole exactly 5mm because it is easier to control the pin size than the hole size, and the pins are harder than the barrel - but I'm sure HK had their reasons. T.
