Just changing the oil is pretty straight forward. Pull the front wheel. Loosen the top fork plugs. Loosen the triple clamp bolts. Pull the fork legs out (one at the time). Mark them left and right. Pull the top fork plugs off. Drain the oil. One at the front of the motor and one towards the back. There is also crush washers on the drain plugs, make sure you put them back on or replace them every 2 or 3 oil changes.
