I've had no problems switching between Varilux and Costco glasses, and find the Costco ones to be excellent.

Hey, I recently had a similar problem with a pair of glasses from Costco. The left side of the left lens (single vision) was distorted. I told them, and they ran some tests on the lens in store that showed that there might have been a defect in the lens. They sent the glasses back and had the lens recut, which fixed the problem.
