This time around I'm showing off the process of creating irrigation pipes, placing them, and then setting up farming plot...Our main base has pipes coming from a lake. I drank from the taps just fine before the update. Now bottles in these taps break when I try to refill them, and the char makes the drinking noise, but doesn't regain water when I press e. They have a large water capacity specifically so they don't usually need extra water if they are kept out in the open. Having 12 tanks is massive overkill but that's ok.Don't waste time, Materials, or space on Medium or Small Crop Plots. Stack large Crop plots 6-8 high (smaller foot print). I am currently maintaining sustainable water levels of 2 stacks of Large crop plots inside a 3X3 Green House, with 4 Metal Water Catchers on one side, and a toilet and Industrial cooker connected (and operational) on the other.

Put the irrigation pipe into the water, thats the one that looks a bit like a crowbar. Then you use the inclined one to bring it just up a little bit so its above the ground.
