Pulled the alternator off and it was shot. Put on a new alternator and now my battery/alternator light flashes every 7 seconds. I have read where it could be a voltage regulator, but I am unsure if my 1996 5400 has an internal voltage regulator inside the alternator or if it has an external alternator.
