First Quarter. No school for the boy 4/15, so we put in at Olin and spent a few hours in Monona Bay 12:30-3:00. He stayed busy. 4 crappies and 20+ gills between the two of us, with a handful of real nice ones. Everything let go. Gulp minnows and gulp red worms. Fish were aggressive, often hitting it on the drop.

Slow bite with 95% good ice. Had 8-10" everywhere except that there was a spot 20yds by 10yds wide with only 5" of ice. This is 50yds northwest of the far north airport light. Everywhere else ice was good with some water on top. Will report how it holds up this weekend.
