A new professor at LSU who didn't know she'd be teaching our class. By far the most unorganized professor I have ever come across. It's the beginning of October, and we still have zero grades in the class, and she hasn't communicated any changes in the syllabus with us. This was supposed to be my easy A class, but she's so lost on how to teach.

Grade: A+. Textbook: Yes. Boutwell's class is awesome. We learn about the popular music from the 1890s to the 2010s. Every lecture we learn about a new song while also learning about the musical concepts that go into these songs. Sometimes he plays instruments to demonstrate a concept and he shows a lot of videos.

Shell post an research study for the week and students are expected to have read it before coming to class. Grade heavily depends on a few tests and 3 group projects. Class is moderate in difficulty, but an A is definitely achievable. Professor Odell is a good professor that has a lot of experience in his field of study and seems passionate. He cancels classes often and takes a while to answer emails. The only grades are two open note exams, packback, and 2 reading quizzes.Dr. Moroney's lectures are hard to follow along as she doesn't use power points. Tests cover too many dense chapter at once ( 6-9 chp. a test). She does post old exams to study. If you know the notes by memory, the test is not too hard. Dr. Moroney does give a couple of bonus opportunities and curves final grades/test.

Chris wells is such a great professor. He is really passionate about what he teaches. The grades are 4 open note exams, 3 ILC exams, attendance and 2 extra credit opprotunities near the end of the semester. He does have a no computer and phone polices so if you hate taking hand written notes, do not take him.

I took ENGL 2025 during the summer and although the course was a month long, the class wasn't bad. The only downside, in my opinion, was talking about the assigned readings because I don't really care about the subject. She is not a professor, but a"coordinator"who does the absolute bare minimum&does not teach a single thing. You must rely on your math lab&youtube to merely survive.Seems bothered by any student who might want to take some initiative. 2 exams are extremely saturated might drop a quiz or homework which is not helpful with how the exams are weighted.
