Oculus quest 2 boundary glitch.
Mine is fully black, but only when I am fully in the boundary. I can still see the oculus repositioning thing when I hold down the home key, I can see the boundaries when I get too close and pass through works fine. I've tried restarting, hard rebooting, recharging it, holding the home button multiple times, but it still remains.
It used to be an experimental feature but it seems now its being forced to be on. Yesterday I got an update, that forced me to use stationary passthrough. My experience is ruined because, the controllers don't activate the passthrough, only the headset; in consequence I hit everything in range. Same. Use google.1 clean the cameraes. 2 make sure batteries is 1.5 volts. 3 change the tracking freq on controllers to 60 hz. 4 change lighting conditions. 5 try it in another room. 6 factory reset. I ended up having to return mine, i am currently waiting for a replacement.Cant wait until it arrives :-) 2. Go to "Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics" folder and run "OculusDebugTool.exe". Set "Pixels per display pixel override" to 0, then set "Encode resolution width" to 1344, then close it. Now try to use Link again, for me it takes like 5 seconds to show the screen, so wait a bit. Boundary keeps moving. Quest 2 user here. Every time I try to adjust or even look at the boundary (in passthrough, once it boots), it shifts around by at least a few inches at a time. I look at a different direction, it moves. I take a step, it moves. I can't even set the floor correctly because it moves with me.
