The Alley Agate Company, owned by Lawrence Alley, was very itinerant during its existence (1929-1949); it was located in four different West Virginian cities: Paden City (1929-1932), Sistersville (1932-1934), Pennsboro (1934-1937), and St. Marys (1937-1949). In my defense, I have never seen another caged cat eye marble and seen peltier style in the lines. The one whit the most curves makes me think pelt. And one of the lines dives past halfway into the marble. Its ⅝ ...Always look at the pattern and cut lines as well as surface attributes found on Mexican fast made marbles. Old Peltier marbles are perfect surfaces lacking the irregular surface and cold rolls of a normal Vacor. Out of a bag of 50, one is lucky to find 5 perfect examples lacking surface imperfections.
