In at least the latest 2 versions of Weighted BatchPreprocessing, Local Normalization defaults to "on," and it was causing a problem with my pictures -- basically, it turns minor low-level noise into dramatic color streaks in the sky background. The LocalNormalization tool provides many resources for quantitative and qualitative evaluation of results, which should always be used. If you are starting, keep things simple and try to learn correct, robust procedures. You probably don't need LocalNormalization for this data set, and shouldn't use it at this point. Open the Convolution tool and set the Std Dev to around 5 and apply to the background. You may need to apply this more than once. Guys, I just wanted to share a process I came up with in pixelmath that I call Narrowband Normalization that allows you to normalize SHO or HOO (or HOO from a OSC) data in a drag and drop process. I use the offset/scaling normalization method to match the OIII and or SII to that of the Ha signal. I created a video on how this works listed below.

This night I installed the complete set. Just in the download folder, not in Pixinsight folder. In the morning SPCC worked. Then I had to go to work and forgot to save the project.
