Just get the Ultimate Bag mod, I've gotten like 400 logs into one without issue. I mean, the mod has issues, the bag has the carrying capacity of a semi and trying to find a bandage in it slows the game down to a halt as it has to reindex the bag every time you want to disinfect a cut and then when you bandage it the game freezes for like 3 minutes.

I can make (through foraging) stone axes and hammers quite easily. If there were some way to make a rudimentary saw I could make a campfire kit. With the saw and the hammers I could build log barricades. I suspect the omission of the stone saw was to not make the game too easy but so close! Anyone know a way around this.
