I strongly suggest that you read the story on each character and choose whichever class most appeals to you. The main thing you didn't mention is that the true strength of Blunt Force is the good Initiative, which is something the Cragheart desperately needs, especially on the range build (almost every good initiative cards have melee top abilities). It also gives free experience on a bottom action, which is also very rare.
