You would be amazed at how much info is out there already answering your questions for you. To be honest, most "honor society's" are mostly just scams. It's one of several random honors societies you pay to join mostly to just add a line to your resume. You can get out of it what you put in. There might be networking events, volunteer events, guest speakers etc but optional to attend. And you may be better off getting kinds of benefits from other more major specific things.It's a scam, don't put your effort into this. You deserve a much better honor society.
