Steel rails guide the carrier smoothly. Long stroke gas piston has 8 settings on the 13.7. Can't personally recommend the jmac jsr8. It's a little snug. And I'm short. Haven't messed with accuracy. It takes a few hundred rounds to fully smooth out and run with the gas as low as one can go reliably. Gas block.

Gas knob wide open it would fully cycle Winchester/lake city 193/855 and even wolf gold but still seemed sluggish with all of them to me. I was using an attached Surefire Socom .300 blk suppressor when attempting to shoot the subsonic rounds. What was happening was the fresh rounds would get jammed between the magazine and the chamber as the weapon cycled.
