The speaker in this headphone looks like a thin piece of diaphragm. It’s very fragile. Be very careful not to poke it with sharp object.Bass on NC 700 is okay at 75% volume but then falls off at higher volume and never gets super loud. The Sony's at 75% are louder than the Bose and get louder, bass doesn't fall off nearly as much. ANC and ambient sound modes are also impressive. true.
