The custom 22lr barrel for my CZ 455 is finally done. Big THANK YOU to Frank @ Bartlein barrels for donating this barrel and continuing to support the SH community!! Every review or testing the SH community wants to see, Frank is always quick to say no problem Ill get a barrel out to you. So again, a big thank you to Frank/Bartlein.
Jan 15, 2011 · Anyway my 10/22 with the ER shaw barrel shot .850 center to center at 75m. and my CZ452 shot .6 center to center. Both were 10 shot groups. My CZ has a 1.5lb trigger weight and was outfitted with a leupold 3-10 mk4 m3. The 10/22 has a 4-16 pst which is a bit washed out and breaks at almost 5 pounds. For this review and testing all barrels have/will be chambered by Keystone Accuracy with my 22LR match reamer and headspace is set to .046 (minimum on RimX is 0.0455"). ... Don't forget to pay attention to the chamber. I agree that you should start with good barrel, but the chamber is equally as important. I bought a 10/22 Shilen barrel a couple of years ago and the chamber was long. You could drop a round in the chamber and the bullet wouldn't engrave the rifleing lands. I have a Shilen bull on my 77/22 22LR. It was cut to 16 and threaded by www.jpgrips.com , Boyds, Volq trigger, Vortex 4-12. It likes std and supers. Have shot some really good groups with Remington Subs, it did not like those before at full length.

Less than half inch groups easy at 50 yds, using good SV ammo. At my age & eyes,I don't shoot as well as I use to. I think a younger fellow would have the ragged hole thing going on!
After the Shelin barrel test I take the 2 SK Ammos that shot the best and shoot for Groups at 100 yards.
