The T1X's always suffer from an ejection issue eventually due to the design and that little spring getting loose. The CZ 457 MTR is around $750 if you want to guarantee yourself a match barrel, otherwise the standard 457's are lottery barrels but they're never worse than a RPRR. B14R is clunky feeling imo.

I have a pro varmint supressor ready model that I put in a bravo chassis and its quickly becoming my favorite rifle.As pointed out by PWNolan, it very much depends upon the individual rifle. It also depends upon finding the cartridge that it likes. The MTR and the B14r (steel) may shoot lights out, shoot pretty well or be a dog. A couple of guys I shoot against use the MTR and do quite well.

Tikkas feel plasticy and cheap to me and the Bergara mag is stupid, seriously doubt they are any more accurate than the CZ.

gmd1950. Not a direct comparison as my BMR is a .22lr and my Tikka is a .17hmr, I like the BMR as is with only a trigger improvement but the Tikka factory stock had to go. Both are sub MOA rifles with the .17hmr shooting slightly smaller groups which one would expect. The Bergara now wears a smaller Athlon 4-16x scope.I bought the 457 Varmint. The lightweight synthetic stock made the T1x feel less than a Tikka to me. I love Tikka centerfire rifles but was underwhelmed by the T1x. The 457 Varmint looks and feels like a high quality rifle.
