The Northwest Regional Juvenile Detention Center was established in Eau Claire County in 1989. The facility has a capacity of 23 youth, between the ages of 10 and 17 years. We provide short-term care and support for delinquent youth, and a long-term dispositional alternative for youth needing local treatment services.

On May 6, 1995 Collin County Citizens approved a bond for 5 million dollars to build a 100 bed Juvenile Detention center. We broke ground on April 14, 1997. The delay was caused by an increase in construction costs. The project when completed cost approximately 7 million dollars. Construction began on May 12, 1997.Contact Us.
