THEN I took a look at a video, (Prairie 360 Valve adjustment. - YouTube ) and that mechanic says the intake clearance should be .002 and exhaust should be .005. I noticed the Carb pops too? It has plenty of power once you get up to speed, no bogging ... On the pilot jet air screw you turn it in until it is just barely bottomed - do not tighten it - then back it out the specified turns. That is your starting place for a good idle.
