My silver Oct made 77 with a 351M/C-6/NP-205 gets 80/90 gear oil in the xfer case. The "Shadow" told me to do it. lol. On my 78 I've run 50w motor oil and 80w90 gear oil in both the 435 transmission and the 205 case.
