It kind of depends on where your sympathies lie. The G2 is the better of two (G2 and GS) for dry flies, which relegates the GS to the second-best dry fly rod ever made. The GS has a little more punch, which makes it a little better in the wind, and can handle nymphing a little better than the G2. T.
