Jan 25, 2022 · The CZ Sharptail is the most current edition of our single trigger SxS in the lineup. It replaced the Ringneck that did have some issue with the firing pins and springs but both those issues were addressed with the Sharptail especially when it come to the trigger which was greatly improved. It is our only SxS in .16ga that we offer at the time. The CZ Bobwhite 28 ga. is a better balanced gun than the 20 ga. model. I shot one for quail and woodcock until last year when I gave it to the grandson of a longtime friend. It is an excellent gun weighing just over 5.25 lbs. It has a scaled action for 28 ga. and isn't just a pair of 28 ga. barrels on a 20 ga. frame.

I have a CZ Sharptail in 16 ga. they are made by Huglu in Turkey and IMO are quite a drop down in fit, finish and quality of the Dickinson guns made by Akus also in Turkey. But they are decent enough guns friend of mine has a G2 Bobwhite in 28 ga. and likes it well enough. Once he sent it back to CZ to have the trigger pulls lightened.
