1844 posts · Joined 2010. #4 · Apr 4, 2010. I think my first Dobe had ears similar to Lottie's. My old computer with all of the scanned photos is dead, unfortunately so I can't post them. I didn't know there were different ear shapes or naturally crazy ears until I joined the forums.

But you *don't* want to use molefoam when you first start posting..the ear needs a rounded post to get the shape right.Ann. The only two vets I know of that do quality cropping in Texas are Dr. Crouch and Dr. Schaeffer. (And I know a LOT of breeders in Texas). Your breeder should be taking care of the cropping - but I agree with workingk9s - I have heard good things about Dr. Soltero, I believe he does some of the local breeders. We have a Doberman club that meets the 2nd wednesday of every month at Manuel's Mexican Restaurant at 7pm.Along with the many different breeds that are acceptably ear-cropped, different ear-cropping styles exist.
