So I cleared my PS5 cache, then waited patiently for another Vex Strike Force activity. Guess what. It crashed during the final 3-boss phase again. So now I'm 0/4 on PS5 and 0/2 on PC. To put this into perspective, I have every single Neomuna weapon pattern that can be crafted now, still not a single completion of Vex Strike Force due to crashes. There's two layers of RNG (getting it to even happen and getting enough teammates in the instance to be able to complete it) and a seemingly pretty widespread hard crash issue. To be clear, do you own Beyond Light on the platform on which you were completing the Vex Strike Force? Expansions do not transfer across platforms. Double check your expansion entitlements in Eververse. While a getting a new exotic may not be guaranteed, it is heavily weighted.

As Precious Scars is an Exotic from Beyond Light, you can only acquire it when farming Legend Lost Sectors or Vex Strike Force events. Legend or Master Lost Sectors will be your most straightforward path, as each day offers a specific armor slot (Legs, Arms, etc), thereby having the smallest pool to pull from.

it only happens in the same places as the incursion. sometimes right after the public event (but not always). so if you finish a public event in the incursion zone, hang around for a bit to see if the supernumerary event spawns. otherwise, leave the area and then come back (you'll get a fresh instance). 1.
