The z7 is truly the first bow I have shot by Matthews that I really thought was a great bow.. The Maxxis was also an amazing shooting bow.. The main difference in the two I noticed was that the z7 had a smoother draw than the maxxis while the maxxis had a smoother release than the z7 .... hhhmmmm choices..
