Oanda's stated costs are cheaper overall but the spreads can go crazy wide during news or at times, it seems, for no reason at all. I have traded with them off and on for years and every time I go with them I get reminded quickly why I left.

there's a definite difference because tradingview's default chart has FXCM as a broker so spreads will differ. i'd suggest using tradingview for analysis then looking back at your broker's chart for executing orders. Oanda's spreads are HUGE. Oanda is considered by many on r/forex to be the best broker. Apart from all the pros, its spreads are extremely high relative to other legitimate brokers. I used Myfxbook to compare spreads. The brokers I compared are from this list. I used EUR/USD as the independent variable.
