Agreed that the nut is the key. If it is, just go easy on the wraps around the tuning posts, stretch them well and tune to the trem and you should be fine. I came to about the same conclusion. The Morning Glory cuts a little bass and has a great bite to it. The Lightspeed adds a tiny bit of bass and takes away a touch of mid/low mid growl.
