This whole system has gotten buggy for me recently and on top of that they've dropped the point reward amounts, signifcantly in some cases, for tasks on Xbox within the last year. To get rewards for bing searches, you need to sign in to Microsoft rewards in the browser u use and set the bing to the USA using any VPN as I told before I know this because I also live in India. I do the mobile searches in the new Bing browser and get my Bing App points, then I log in with Edge and use the older version of Bing for the 20 points.
